Anti Bullying Day at Oakfield

Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. Here at Oakfield House School, we believe that by channelling our collective power, through shared efforts and shared ambitions, we can reduce bullying together. From parents and carers, to teachers and politicians, to children and young people, we all have a part to play in coming together to make a difference.

Classes all looked at the theme of celebrating individuality-understanding that every person is unique, different and valued. We looked at how teasing a person due to their ability, appearance, background, religion etc is wrong and will not be tolerated. We should be highlighting the positives of each person’s unique character and personality.

Pupils made personal maps detailing facts all about themselves and we discussed what makes our pupils so great!

We’re all a piece in the puzzle, and together, we’re united against bullying.
