During Children’s Mental Health Week last term, pupils at OHS worked on expression and feelings.
The Pupils looked at different emotions and ways of expressing our feelings in a safe and secure manner. Pupils were encouraged to think about both positive and negative thoughts and to explore how these emotions make us feel.
We also posed questions such as:
- What makes you feel grateful?”
- What was the most challenging thing for you this week?
The questions helped to prompt further discussion and to review our personal responses.
Each class then created a ‘feather of feeling’ to add to the wonderful display in the main entrance to Bubble 2
