Hello from Steve Backshall

As part of our aspirations work at Oakfield we have been reaching out to well-known individuals that work in careers which some of our children dream of working in and are inspirational people to them. A very popular area of work amongst many pupils is to work with animals, this can take many forms and could mean becoming a zoo keeper, running an animal sanctuary or becoming a wildlife conservationist.

We are lucky enough to have been sent a video from the Deadly 60 presenter and well known wildlife conservationist Steve Backshall! Steve has been kind enough to offer advice to our pupils looking to follow in his footsteps of dedicating his career to helping animals and raising awareness to causes linked to helping wildlife and the environment.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Steve from all of our budding naturalists.
