Museum of Science and Industry Trip

The children from Sycamore and Maple classes enjoyed a trip to Manchester to visit the Science and Industry Museum. The museum provides the opportunity to explore 250 years of innovations and ideas that started life in Manchester and went on to change the world.

The children particularly enjoyed the ‘Experiment’ section, which is an interactive gallery for all ages to enjoy together.

The children and the staff had a go at building sturdy bridges and tall towers, making music with their bodies and discovering whether they were strong enough to lift a car with one hand.

They tested their senses and flexed their superpowers, tried to see through walls and find out how you can shake hands with yourself. They played songs on musical pipes and got creative with glow-in-the-dark art as well as learning lots of new facts at the Curiosity Stops dotted around the museum.
